Presbyterian Ladies’ College (PLC) is a leading ELC to Year 12 independent day and boarding school,

THE ROLE
This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity to work in a contemporary, well-resourced, highly dynamic library
environment that provides a range of resources, information services and programs to support the student
and staff community at PLC.
As part of the Senior Library Services Team, the Library Technician will be responsible for a range of duties
that contribute to making the library a welcoming, well-resourced, and inspiring teaching and learning space.
This role is multi-faceted, involving many moving parts and requiring strong organisation, adaptability, and
the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy school setting.
ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidate will have a Library qualification and proven experience in a similar role.
You are motivated by the opportunity to work within a dynamic, collaborative team, in a high-performing
school environment where no day is the same.
You have strong IT and library database management skills, as well as excellent attention to detail. Your
warmth, enthusiasm, patience and service-oriented work style will be at the forefront of your interactions with
students, teachers, and the wider PLC community.
